We nodigden meisjes en jonge vrouwen uit onze buitenschoolse activiteiten uit, die hun ervaringen, projecten en visie op de technologische wereld met ons deelden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Het was het tiende jaar dat we dit evenement vierden, en dit keer hebben we het ingekaderd binnen het Europees project Fab Connect Her, waaraan we deelnemen. Het doel van het project is om de aanwezigheid van meisjes en vrouwen in de wereld van fab labs te bevorderen door educatieve bronnen en hulpmiddelen te cre\u00ebren die docenten in de klas kunnen gebruiken met meisjes en vrouwen. Om deze reden nodigde het evenement niet alleen meisjes en hun families uit, maar ook docenten die ge\u00efnteresseerd zijn in het veranderen van de huidige trend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"ES\">Mensen boven machines<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Nuria opende het evenement door iedereen te herinneren aan alles wat ons heeft gebracht waar we nu zijn. \u201cEerst hechtten we veel belang aan de machines, maar nu hechten we meer belang aan de mensen achter de projecten, want zonder hen zouden we dit allemaal niet kunnen doen\u201d, zei ze.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Ze gaf vervolgens een lezing voor de jonge deelnemers, die zich hun eerste keer bij Fab Lab Le\u00f3n herinnerden en deelden hoe nerveus en enthousiast ze waren, en vertelden enkele anekdotes uit die begintijd. Daarna lieten ze enkele van hun werken zien en legden ze het proces uit dat eraan ten grondslag lag. Hun projecten omvatten lampen met sensoren om te lezen, van kleur veranderende lampen en zelfs een robotarm waaraan verschillende van hen hadden meegewerkt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Ze bespraken ook de levendige sfeer van de activiteiten, de teamwork, de vriendschappen die ze hebben gevormd, en de verrijkende ervaring van het delen van tijd met enkele van de bezoekers van het lab, zoals Yuki Takemura uit Japan, en Vicky uit Duitsland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"ES\">Breken met stereotyperingen<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Het evenement diende ook als een moment om stil te staan bij de lagere aanwezigheid van vrouwen in de wetenschap en het kleinere percentage meisjes en jonge vrouwen dat deelneemt aan de activiteiten van Fab Lab Le\u00f3n. In het licht van deze cijfers merkten de deelnemers op: \u201cWe moeten stoppen met denken in termen van oude stereotypen\u201d, zoals Sof\u00eda verklaarde. \u201cIk ben erg trots dat ik hierbij ben gekomen\u201d, legde Elisa uit. \u201cAls je het leuk vindt, maakt het niet uit wat anderen denken \u2013 focus je op wat je leuk vindt en wat je gelukkig zal maken\u201d, voegde Blanca eraan toe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"ES\">Alchemistische Werkplaats<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Het tweede deel van de dag was gewijd aan een workshop, geleid door Luciana en Fernando van Alquim\u00e9tricos, een platform voor het ontwerpen van gratis educatief speelgoed met behulp van open en collaboratieve technologie\u00ebn om te leren over STEAM door middel van spel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Ze gingen praktisch aan de slag om een katapult te bouwen met eenvoudig uitgedeeld materiaal, terwijl Fernando uitlegde hoe deze materialen zelfs thuis met melkpakken in elkaar gezet konden worden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"ES\">Wat aanvankelijk slechts een spel leek, werd al snel een les vol concepten van meetkunde, kracht, spanning en capaciteit. De deelnemers analyseerden en experimenteerden met deze concepten om het ontwerp van de katapult te verbeteren zodat het projectiel verder kon vliegen.
