Outubro de 2025 marcou o primeiro Desafio FabConnectHer STEAM. Estudantes, professores e mentores STEAM da Isl\u00e2ndia, Portugal, Espanha, Holanda e Irlanda reuniram-se em Dundalk durante tr\u00eas dias de cria\u00e7\u00e3o, aprendizagem e colabora\u00e7\u00e3o. O tema da semana \u2013 Tecendo Sabedoria Ancestral com Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Futura<\/em> \u2013 provou rapidamente o seu valor, especialmente quando os prot\u00f3tipos come\u00e7aram a tomar forma. Ap\u00f3s a chegada na segunda-feira \u00e0 noite, os grupos foram recebidos com uma atividade pr\u00e1tica de heran\u00e7a irlandesa: a confe\u00e7\u00e3o de um tradicional Cinto Crios com a facilitadora Una Curley.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fase 1: Das ideias aos primeiros esbo\u00e7os<\/strong><\/p>\n

O primeiro dia completo come\u00e7ou na sede da Creative Spark com uma visita ao espa\u00e7o, algumas atividades de dinamiza\u00e7\u00e3o e um exerc\u00edcio utilizando cartas Pok\u00e9mon com mulheres inspiradoras em STEAM. Foi um ponto de partida l\u00fadico \u2013 cada equipa criou uma carta para a sua modelo \u00e0 escolha, o que desencadeou discuss\u00f5es iniciais sobre as contribui\u00e7\u00f5es das mulheres para as STEAM.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s esta abertura, os grupos aprenderam mais sobre o seu desafio para a semana: criar um prot\u00f3tipo inspirado em s\u00edmbolos culturais, sabedoria antiga e a sua pr\u00f3pria heran\u00e7a. Rapidamente, as mesas ficaram cobertas de esbo\u00e7os, padr\u00f5es, hist\u00f3rias e moodboards. Como cada equipa juntou estudantes de diferentes pa\u00edses, as ideias moveram-se rapidamente para uma quest\u00e3o partilhada: Como podemos misturar as nossas culturas e hist\u00f3rias em algo novo?<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

Na FabConnectHer, adotamos uma abordagem multifacetada para capacitar raparigas e mulheres em STEAM, combinando aprendizagem pr\u00e1tica, inspira\u00e7\u00e3o e mentoria. O Desafio STEAM refletiu esta abordagem ao longo da semana. Cada dia terminava com uma sess\u00e3o de reflex\u00e3o guiada, conduzida por mentoras, focando em t\u00f3picos relacionados com colabora\u00e7\u00e3o, confian\u00e7a e desenvolvimento pessoal. O foco do primeiro dia foi construir confian\u00e7a no grupo, definir pap\u00e9is e refletir sobre como colaborar bem numa equipa internacional. Utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos materiais de mentoria da FabConnectHer para aprofundar o tema e iniciar conversas abertas.<\/p>\n

Um mentor refletiu mais tarde sobre esta din\u00e2mica:<\/p>\n

\u201cO grupo, composto apenas por mulheres, criou um espa\u00e7o seguro onde todas se sentiram \u00e0 vontade para fazer perguntas e partilhar abertamente. O cen\u00e1rio internacional, que reuniu diferentes culturas e compet\u00eancias, acrescentou ainda mais valor.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Fase 2: Dos esbo\u00e7os \u00e0 prototipagem<\/strong><\/p>\n

Na quarta-feira, o grupo visitou Newgrange e o local da Batalha do Boyne para vivenciar a hist\u00f3ria irlandesa de perto. Estar em frente a estruturas mais antigas do que as pir\u00e2mides despertou novas ideias e ajudou as equipas a repensar os seus esbo\u00e7os anteriores.<\/p>\n

Ao fim da tarde, as m\u00e1quinas de corte a laser estavam a funcionar, as impressoras 3D estavam a zumbir e as equipas estavam a moldar as suas ideias em prot\u00f3tipos reais.<\/p>\n

Nesse dia, as reflex\u00f5es do mentoring foram mais profundas. O foco voltou-se para os desafios que as raparigas enfrentam nas \u00e1reas STEAM, partilhando experi\u00eancias e encontrando formas de construir confian\u00e7a e apoiarem-se mutuamente. Estas conversas criaram espa\u00e7o para a honestidade e deram \u00e0s mentoras a oportunidade de inspirar atrav\u00e9s das suas pr\u00f3prias hist\u00f3rias.<\/p>\n

Um aluno capturou-o bem:<\/p>\n

\u201cPod\u00edamos todas relacionar-nos umas com as outras sobre experi\u00eancias comuns como mulheres\u2026.<\/em> Foi bom saber que mulheres com origens t\u00e3o diferentes conseguiam encontrar coisas e experi\u00eancias em comum \u2014 mas tamb\u00e9m foi triste que, apesar de sermos t\u00e3o diferentes, todas parec\u00edamos ter experi\u00eancias semelhantes em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a barreiras.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fase 3: Sprint de prototipagem e Apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n

O \u00faltimo dia foi dedicado a terminar prot\u00f3tipos e preparar apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es. As equipas adicionaram os \u00faltimos detalhes, ensaiaram as suas hist\u00f3rias e prepararam-se para apresentar.<\/p>\n

Os ju\u00edzes Deirdre Maccormack e Joan McCann \u2013 duas l\u00edderes galardoadas em STEAM, empreendedorismo e neg\u00f3cios \u2013 ficaram impressionados. Elas destacaram a criatividade das ideias, o uso ponderado de elementos culturais e a forma como cada equipa traduziu o patrim\u00f3nio em algo moderno e significativo.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s as apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es, os grupos reuniram-se para uma \u00faltima sess\u00e3o de mentoria, desta vez focada nos objetivos futuros. Utilizando a \u00c1rvore de Compet\u00eancias STEAM, os alunos mapearam as compet\u00eancias que j\u00e1 possuem e identificaram as \u00e1reas em que desejam crescer a seguir. O modelo est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel na plataforma online FabConnectHer para quem desejar experiment\u00e1-lo.<\/p>\n

Um mentor resumiu a semana maravilhosamente:<\/p>\n

\u201cTrabalhar em equipas com diferentes nacionalidades incentivou os alunos a encontrar pontos em comum, o que resultou num excelente trabalho de equipa. Alguns nem se aperceberam que possu\u00edam certas compet\u00eancias STEAM at\u00e9 as utilizarem, e essa descoberta aumentou a sua confian\u00e7a. Um aluno aprendeu at\u00e9 o Rhino pela primeira vez e agora est\u00e1 motivado para continuar a explorar a modela\u00e7\u00e3o 3D. Foi uma atividade que valeu a pena repetir.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

O sucesso da semana adv\u00e9m da sua combina\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades pr\u00e1ticas, uma forte orienta\u00e7\u00e3o, modelos inspiradores e da din\u00e2mica \u00fanica de juntar jovens mulheres de toda a Europa. As alunas aprenderam a encontrar pontes entre culturas, a abra\u00e7ar a diversidade no seu trabalho em equipa e a dar espa\u00e7o \u00e0s ideias umas das outras.<\/p>\n

Uma poderosa recorda\u00e7\u00e3o do porqu\u00ea do FabConnectHer existir \u2013 e do porqu\u00ea do Desafio STEAM n\u00e3o ser o \u00faltimo. E para terminar: aqui ficam os prot\u00f3tipos que os alunos apresentaram com orgulho no final da semana.
