O desafio consistia em criar um \"e-monstro\", em forma de personagem de feltro com um olho de LED, inspirado no jogo de tem\u00e1tica espacial \"Among Us\", que tenta identificar quem \u00e9 o impostor no jogo. Como a nossa anfitri\u00e3 e gestora do FabLabLeon, Nuria Robles, nos forneceu um kit j\u00e1 preparado contendo um modelo e tudo o que poder\u00edamos necessitar, pensei que seria simples, seria brincadeira de crian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Bem, maior tolo eu, apesar das instru\u00e7\u00f5es passo a passo no ecr\u00e3 e da orienta\u00e7\u00e3o da N\u00faria, tive dificuldades desde o in\u00edcio. Fiquei surpreendido com o quanto a minha vers\u00e3o de 8 anos ainda estava marcada por ter tentado aprender a tricotar como canhota. O Adri\u00e1n, colaborador do FabLabLeon, detetou rapidamente a minha falta de destreza com a tesoura e forneceu-me um par diferente para satisfazer as minhas necessidades. Assim que o LED foi explicado, fix\u00e1mo-lo com fita adesiva especial e test\u00e1mos com entusiasmo o conceito, exibindo um arco-\u00edris de cores pela sala. Lembrei-me do mantra do meu pai, \u201cMede duas vezes e corta uma vez\u201d depois de ter ficado misteriosamente sem fita e ter de pedir mais para fixar o mecanismo interno do meu monstro.<\/p>\n<p>De seguida veio a parte da costura, novamente, apesar dos cortes pr\u00e9-feitos no feltro, nem sempre era \u00f3bvio por onde come\u00e7ar para fixar o olho e a pe\u00e7a lateral de forma eficaz. Ap\u00f3s um per\u00edodo de intensa concentra\u00e7\u00e3o, refletida na paz e sil\u00eancio na sala, lentamente os e-monstros come\u00e7aram a tomar a sua forma final. Por vezes, questionei-me se deveria desfazer alguns dos pontos menos perfeitos, mas vendo outros tamb\u00e9m trope\u00e7ar, percebi que feito \u00e9 melhor que perfeito (uma li\u00e7\u00e3o de vida, de facto) e por isso continuei.<\/p>\n<p>Uma hora e meia depois de come\u00e7armos e gra\u00e7as \u00e0 orienta\u00e7\u00e3o e apoio tranquilizadores de Adrian e Nuria, conseguimos exibir e desfilar os nossos e-monstros para uma fotografia de grupo. A minha verdadeira aprendizagem foi observar a gama de sentimentos e emo\u00e7\u00f5es que experimentei ao longo do processo. Questionei a minha capacidade e confian\u00e7a. Ironicamente, senti-me um pouco como uma impostora, pois pensei que outros teriam mais aptid\u00e3o nesta \u00e1rea. Com paci\u00eancia e perseveran\u00e7a, criei algo tang\u00edvel do qual me orgulhei.
