Espacio Open- Fab Lab Bilbao

We are an ecosystem of creative and social projects with a positive social impact located since 2009 in the Old Biscuit Factory of Bilbao (Artiach Factory) in the La Ribera neighbourhood of Deusto / Zorrotzaurre. We have more than 110,000 annual visitors, 14 workers and 2,000m2 of facilities.

We work at the intersection of contemporary culture, technology and social issues. We develop our own projects in our spaces, as well as consulting and management projects and services for private and public entities.

Our spaces house the Fab Lab Bilbao digital creation and manufacturing centre. We promote and collaborate in creation, training and dissemination programmes such as the Maker Faire Bilbao Festival, the creation residencies for artists and designers and the European projects T-Factor, Eureka and Distributed Design.

Every weekend we organize the Vintage Bilbao event as an evolution of the Open Your Ganbara circular economy market, held since 2009.
