In the university area, our Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design students have access to Digital Fabrication spaces and technology with which they build their final degree projects, and where workshop and project subjects are developed. At the School activities are developed around digital craftsmanship, from the Chair of Craftsmanship of the UPV. We also have a research centre, located in the Science Park, in the Centre for Management and Change (CQ), where we are working mainly on two lines of research: medical, developing surgical simulators, and industrial, where additive manufacturing is applied to companies. In the field of training, the Digital Manufacturing degree (postgraduate), the work with the Foundation for Development and Innovation (Ford Spain) and the “Ciencia Lab UPV” programme (oriented towards STEAM for secondary school students) should be highlighted.
