Fab Lab Suðurnes

Fablab Suðurnes is operated on the premises of Fjölbrautaskóli Suðurnesja.

Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a digital workshop with tools and equipment to create almost anything. The Fab Lab gives young and old, individuals, entrepreneurs and companies, the opportunity to train their creativity and put their ideas into practice by designing, shaping and manufacturing things with the help of digital technology.

The board of Fablab consists of representatives from the Association of Local Authorities in Suðurnes, Reykjanesbær and educational institutions in the area, as well as the state.

Fablab will offer various courses and it is possible to book time to work on projects in addition to having fixed opening hours.
