St Gobnait's Bee Hotel

This prototype invokes the spirit of St Gobnait, an Irish goddess who lived in harmony with bees. We have taken the shape of a bee cell and used an epilog laser machine to cut beech ply to make holders for little cylinders to create a bee hotel for wild bees. We have photo engraved a famous image of St Gobnait onto the material to attract and reassure the bees. This project was meant to be.
