After 30 months of developing learning content, resources, activities and European collaboration, we are delighted to unveil the newly redesigned
FabConnectHer website.
As the project evolved, so too did the scale of materials, learning pathways and resources available across the platform. The redesigned homepage and
updated site structure were therefore created to improve user experience, simplify navigation and make it easier for visitors to explore the growing range of FabConnectHer content. It sets up our sustainability phase very strongly Designed by Leon of our Irish partner Momentum, visitors can now move more easily between:
- Learning pathways;
- project resources inc our Fab & Fierce challenge (a real highlight of the project
- Mentor platform and Fab Lab content;
- Fab Lab community engagement opportunities and news and updates;
- The refreshed homepage also provides a clearer introduction to the project and helps users quickly identify the most relevant content for their own interests and learning goals.
A major focus throughout the redesign process was accessibility and ease of use. Whether users are exploring the platform for the first time or returning to access specific learning materials, the updated structure supports a smoother and more intuitive experience across desktop and mobile devices.
The new design also better reflects the creativity, innovation and collaborative spirit at the heart of FabConnectHer.
The website has been key to sharing the FabConnectHer content. Up to mid- March 2026, it attracted more than 40,790 unique visitors. Learning resources,
tools and activities have already been downloaded across the different learning pathways and Challenge Hub resources by over 10,000 people. The feedback has been so encouraging.
